This course offers a special opportunity to learn the art of making Kadampa Buddhist robes, in the beautiful and blessed environment of Madhyamaka KMC.

Robe-making is a much-needed skill to be able to offer the ever increasing numbers of ordained monks and nuns within the Kadampa Buddhist tradition.

This course will run between the NKT-IKBU Spring and Summer Festivals, with the main focus on making robes for those who are ordaining immediately prior to the Summer Festival.

Friday 28 June
6pm – Supper
7 – 8pm – Meditation and Introduction

Saturday 29 June – Tuesday 2 July
9am – The Great Mother Prajnaparamita prayers and
a teaching about the part of the robe to be made that day.

9.30am – 6pm – Practical robe making (including refreshment and lunch breaks).

Wednesday 3 July
9am – 1pm – As above ending with lunch
