The Path of Peace and Joy | 23 – 26 December | with Gen Kelsang Norden

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the ordinary festive season, and enjoy the extraordinary peace and stillness of Madhyamaka KMC. On this course Gen Norden will introduce calming meditations for developing peaceful, loving minds that are a source of happiness and joy for both ourselves and others.

Relax in the peaceful surroundings of Madhyamaka KMC and recharge your batteries in the company of spiritual friends.

Everyone is welcome. You can book for the whole course or just come for the day.

No previous experience is necessary.

    Residential: from £170 for a standard single room, inclusive of course and meals.

    Discount for standard members and free for benefactor members (excluding lunch).  Booking in advance essential.

    The price for residential guests includes all meals. We cater for either vegetarian or vegan dietary choices. If you have other dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

    Please be aware that all of our meals are subject to cross contamination.

    Cancellation Conditions for residential bookings:

    If a booking is cancelled less than 4 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 4 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 25% of the stay will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

    Non-Residential: Please book separately for Christmas lunch.

    Vegetarian or vegan lunches are also available on Tuesday and/or Thursday for non-residential attendees at an additional cost of £7 (for both members and non-members.)

TEACHER

Gen Norden is a Kadampa Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Compassion Kadampa Meditation Centre in Newcastle. She has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism and meditation internationally for over 30 years.
Gen Norden has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with students, which she presents with warmth and clarity.
