Harrogate – Tuesday evening meditation class

Inner Flexibility | 7 – 8.15pm | 9th, 16th & 23rd July  | with Lukas Bisek

On this three-week course, Lukas Bisek will introduce Buddhist meditation practices that enable us to let go of negative and unhappy states of mind, and instead develop a positive, confident approach to life. By cultivating a peaceful mind we will discover an inner flexibility, and the mental resources to respond to daily problems in a calm and constructive way.

We all put a lot of energy into making sure our external conditions are comfortable, but what about our inner conditions?

If our mind is uncomfortable then it doesn’t matter how good the external situation is, we will not be happy.

On this short two-week course we will look at how we can start to develop mental coolness that enables us to remain calm and collected, regardless of the external situation.

Lukas Bisek is a Kadampa Buddhist who has been practising meditation for many years. He presents Buddha’s teachings in a clear and practical way that is relevant to people with busy, modern lives.

Kelsang Drolkyi is a Kadampa Buddhist nun with many years experience of teaching and practising meditation. She presents Buddha’s teachings in an engaging and accessible way that makes them easy to put into practice.
