What does it mean to live with wisdom? A mind of wisdom understands what are the true causes of happiness and what are the true causes of suffering. Wisdom enables us to develop deep insights into how our mind works and, in particular, how to distinguish minds that cause inner peace from those that make us disturbed and unhappy. Eventually we can develop the wisdom understanding the true nature of reality, which is the universal panacea for all our problems and suffering.
On this four-week course, Margaret Hoyle will explain how to cultivate our inner wisdom through practising Kadam Lamrim, a special practical method to integrate all of Buddha’s teachings into our daily lives. In this way, we can gradually solve all our human problems and make our lives truly meaningful.

This short course introduces simple, practical meditation techniques designed to help you connect with and develop your Buddha nature. Through guided meditations and clear explanations, you’ll learn how to:

Margaret Hoyle teaches the meditation classes in Harrogate. Margaret has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years. With her gentle, warm approach, Margaret shares Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down-to-earth way, drawing on her extensive meditation experience. She helps us learn how to keep a happy heart, whatever life brings.
