Living with Wisdom | June 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th | with Richard Hoyle

What does it mean to live with wisdom? A mind of wisdom understands what are the true causes of happiness and what are the true causes of suffering. Wisdom enables us to develop deep insights into how our mind works and, in particular, how to distinguish minds that cause inner peace from those that make us disturbed and unhappy. Eventually we can develop the wisdom understanding the true nature of reality, which is the universal panacea for all our problems and suffering.

On this four-week course, Richard Hoyle will explain how to cultivate our inner wisdom through practising Kadam Lamrim, a special practical method to integrate all of Buddha’s teachings into our daily lives. In this way, we can gradually solve all our human problems and make our lives truly meaningful.

Love Changes Everything| July 7th, 14th & 21st | with Richard Hoyle

When our mind has the nature of love we naturally feel happy and peaceful. With such a state of mind it is impossible to become disturbed or depressed or to develop anger or jealousy.

How can we start to develop this mind towards all living beings? What are the obstacles that get in our way, and how can we overcome them?

This 3-week course we will introduce meditation techniques and special ways of thinking taught by Buddha that help us to start letting go of persistent negative minds and enable us to genuinely appreciate others.

Everybody is welcome.
