Thursday evening meditation class with Gen Tubpa

    Thursdays | 7:30pm – 8.30pm.

    This class will resume in February after the January retreats at Madhyamaka KMC.  Weekly online classes are available during January from KMC York.  

    These classes are for everyone in our area of East and North Yorkshire and those connected to Madhyamaka KMC, KMC York, our branch class areas of Scarborough, Bridlington, Beverley, Stamford Bridge, Goole.  If you live elsewhere you can find your local centre who will be offering livestream classes here https://kadampa.org/map

    £5 per class – please click on the date to book – (free for members)
    The class will be streamed online at the time of the class and then available to watch for a further 48 hours catchup.

Teacher

This class is taught by experienced Buddhist meditation teacher, Gen Kelsang Tubpa

These feature classes with Gen Kelsang Tubpa cover a wide range of engaging topics. Drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained.

The classes include 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching on how to apply the ancient wisdom of Buddha’s teachings to busy modern life. Not to be missed!

The classes conclude with the opportunity for questions and ansers.

Class Detail

How to Transform Your Life with Gen Kelsang Tubpa.

During these classes learn how to develop and maintain inner peace,  reduce and stop your experience of problems, and bring about positive change in your life.

Gen Tubpa will be teaching a little more in-depth from the book How to Transform your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.  She will go through the text systematically, week by week, giving commentary and guiding meditations based on the ideas and principals raised.   At the end of the class there will be time for questions and answers.

How to Transform Your Life is available as a free download from Tharpa Publications, or paperback format from our shop at Madhyamaka KMC.
