Retreat on the Special Commentary to the Extensive Protector Practice

This Post-International Spring Festival retreat will provide the opportunity to draw closer to the Wisdom Protector, Dorje Shugden, through meditations guided by Gen-la Khyenrab on the precious commentary to the Extensive Protector Puja.

The beautiful and blessed surroundings of Madhyamaka KMC offer the perfect environment to take these teachings to heart and develop a deeper experience of this practice in the company of Kadampa family and friends.

June 4 | Offering our Faith | a one-day retreat

June 4 is Dharmachakra Day on which we celebrate Buddha’s first teaching in this world – the first Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. It is also the birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the Founder of New Kadampa Tradition. On this special day we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, our Root Guru, and the immeasurable benefit he continues to bring to the people of this world.

At Madhyamaka KMC and Kadampa Centres around the world, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we offer him our faith through using the special prayer Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples and collecting our Guru’s name mantra in a one-day retreat.

* A shuttle bus between Manjushri KMC and Madhyamaka KMC will be available to book soon.
