A Special 40th Anniversary Event ~ Booking now open

On this special Easter Weekend course we will be immersing ourselves in the experience of cherishing love. Kadam Morten will guide us in the meditations on equalizing and exchanging self with others. These profound and heart-opening meditations incorporate the teachings on emptiness, the true nature of things, into our training in cherishing love.

How does this work? According to Buddha it is our misapprehension of how the self actually exists that keeps us locked in an isolating and very limiting view of who we are and who we can be.  This self-centered perspective keeps us trapped in unhappiness and prevents us from truly opening our hearts to others.
We will emphasize learning how to let go of this painful misapprehension through the meditation on emptiness. This in turn will allow us to actually abide in the  expansive experience of cherishing love in meditation, and to carry it with us during the meditation break, such that we deeply taste the transformative power of this pure love, and how it transforms our whole world into a pure land.

    Residential: from £250 for a standard single room, inclusive of course and meals.

    The price for residential guests includes all meals. We cater for either vegetarian or vegan dietary choices. If you have other dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

    Please be aware that all of our meals are subject to cross contamination.

    Cancellation Conditions for residential bookings:

    If a booking is cancelled less than 4 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 4 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 25% of the stay will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

    A vegetarian or vegan lunch is available on Saturday and/or Sunday for non-residential attendees at an additional cost of £7 (for both members and non-members.)

Kadam Morten Clausen

Kadam Morten Clausen is the NKT National Spiritual Director for Eastern USA and Resident Teacher at KMC New York City. He is a senior disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche who has been practising Kadam Dharma for over 40 years, and began his study at Madhyamaka KMC in the 1980s.
