Sunday 30 August | 9:30am – 1pm | with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang
Our desires are powerful driving forces in our lives. If we desire good things we will perform virtuous actions and if we desire harmful things we will perform non-virtuous actions. Desires can lead us to happiness and fulfilment, or to endless problems and dissatisfaction.
Uncontrolled desire is the main cause of craving, discontent and unhappiness in our daily lives. It is the source of all our addictive behaviour, and it makes us irritable and destructive in our relationships with others.
On this half day course Gen-la Kunsang will introduce practical Buddhist wisdom and meditations that will enable us to let go of uncontrolled desires and constant craving, and will explain how we can discover lasting contentment and peace of mind.
Everyone is welcome.
