Clarity of the Mind
A Meditation Workshop at KMC York with Gen Kelsang Losel
10am – 1pm Saturday 1 October
About the event
Our problems are like bad weather in the mind, or like clouds in the sky. We all know that when the storms disappear and the clouds fade away, the sky becomes clear, still and bright. We don’t have to make the sky like that; it is like always like that, before and after the stormy weather.
In the same way our mind always has the potential to be peaceful, clear and positive. That is its true nature. We don’t have to force peace into our mind. We just have to understand our own mind and how to uncover its natural potential.
On this half day course, Gen Losel will help us to find the answer to the question “what exactly is my mind?” The workshop will provide us with the opportunity to experience the vast space of mental peace that already exists within all our minds. We will learn how to stop identifying with our mental bad weather and instead with the innate clarity within our own mind.
Everyone is welcome, no previous experience is necessary.
