Beverley – Sunday evening meditation classes

Making Happiness Happen | 5 – 6.15pm | March 9th, 16th,  23rd & 30th | with Kelsang Lekmo

Everyone wants to be happy, but we don’t always understand it is a choice we can make. Happiness is a state of mind, and like any positive state of mind we can learn how it can be strengthened through the practice of meditation. Therefore, we can make a choice to be happy in our life by training in meditation.

This four-week course will provide advice and encouragement on how to develop inner peace and integrate the practice of meditation into our daily lives.

Everybody Welcome.

Potential of the Mind | April 6th & 13th | with Kelsang Lekmo

Happiness and suffering are parts of the mind; the former is a joyful feeling and the latter is an unpleasant feeling. Since happiness and suffering are parts of the mind, if we want to avoid suffering and find true happiness we need to understand the nature and functions of the mind.

On this short two-week course, Kelsang Lekmo will explain how developing a clearer understanding of the nature and function of our own mind enables us to find lasting freedom from suffering and problems.
