On this special Easter Course, Gen Jigme will offer essential spiritual advice on how to lead a happier life based on the classic Kadampa text Advice from Atisha’s Heart.

Although it was composed many centuries ago, this much-loved Buddhist scripture is full of practical advice to help us deal with the challenges of modern living, and transform our life into an authentic path of inner development.

Gen Jigme will introduce powerful meditations based on this text that we can use to solve the problems of daily life and truly improve the quality and direction of our life.

This relaxing weekend is an informal balance of meditations, practical teachings and time to rest and relax. It is an opportunity for those new to meditation to learn how to find inner peace and cope with our busy, everyday lives.

Gen Kelsang Jigme

The course will be taught by Gen Jigme, the Resident Teacher at Bodhisattva KMC, Brighton. Ordained as a monk in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Jigme has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance in major Kadampa Centres throughout the UK for many years. He shows a humble, kind example as a practitioner and his clear explanations of Buddha’s teachings give us the confidence to practise them in our daily life.
