A meditation event
York Kadampa Meditation Centre
Saturday 23 July, 10am -1pm
About the event
You are invited to attend a talk about how to improve our inner peace by making a conscious choice regarding what we are feeling.
Maybe, at the moment we are like servants of our mind: whenever it wants to do something, we have to do it without any choice.
In ‘How to transform your life’, buddhist meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is giving us practical methods, scientific methods to find real and lasting freedom from suffering and find the inner peace, contentment and happiness that we strive for.
We can use these methods to help us in our daily life, so we have the freedom to choose.
So the question is: Do we want to remain unhappy and continue to suffer or have inner peace, mental peace which is the source of all our happiness?
