Here’s a secret. You don’t need an expensive spa weekend to get rid of your stress and tension. There is one very special place where you can be completely free of all the pressures and worries.
So where is it? And how do we get there?

It is in the clarity of our own mind. All we need to know is what it looks like, what it feels like and how to find it. Fortunately, Buddha gave very clear and simple instructions on how to discover the hidden potential for lasting inner peace that exists within all of us.

The teacher will explain the meaning of clarity and how we can experience deep tranquility through meditation on the clarity of our mind.

Enjoy a rare opportunity to refresh your mind during a relaxing weekend retreat, set within the inspiring environment of Madhyamaka KMC. 

These weekend retreats introduce simple meditation techniques that help us to develop peace of mind. The course includes practical advice on how to maintain the experience of inner peace in daily life, and time to discuss the ideas presented.

The relaxed schedule allows plenty of time to explore the beautiful grounds with woodland and lake walks, or take in the view with a coffee from our popular World Peace Cafe.  We look forward to welcoming you and hope you go home feeling relaxed and nourished.

The retreats are held in one of our lovely meditation rooms.

A range of comfortable accommodation is available and meals and course fees are included within the cost.


Each weekend retreat is taught by our resident teacher Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang.
