Class Detail

Life nowadays has become so complicated. The reason for this is that our minds make things harder than they need to be. The way to lead a simple life is to sort out the complexity in our mind. When we can keep our mind calm and peaceful all the time, then we will be able to lead a happy life regardless of our external circumstances.

During these classes we will learn techniques to help to see our daily difficulties from a more positive perspective.

The classes will be based on the Meditations for Everyday Life series from Tharpa Publications.   The meditations for relaxation are forms of breathing meditation that help to calm the mind, reduce stress, and give rise to an experience of inner peace and wellbeing. The meditations for a clear mind help us to experience mental clarity and inner peace by meditating on our mind itself, and the meditations for a kind heart help us to develop greater peace of mind and happiness, and to improve our relationships with others through learning to cherish others.

Be guided by experienced Buddhist meditation teachers to bring some real happiness into your life.

These classes cover a wide range of engaging topics.

They include 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching on how to apply the ancient wisdom of Buddha’s teachings to busy modern life.

And conclude with the opportunity for questions and answers.

 FIND LASTING HAPPINESS

The purpose of meditation is to make the mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness.
