Saturday 25 February | 9.30am – 1pm | with Gen Kelsang Tubpa
Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible. We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds. We can send so-called ‘peacekeeping forces’ into areas of conflict, but peace cannot be imposed from the outside with guns. Only by creating peace within our own mind and helping others do the same can we hope to achieve peace in this world.
On this half day course, Gen Kelsang Tubpa will teach us techniques for developing and maintaining inner peace. These spiritual practices are particularly suitable for contemporary times, when the world around us is increasingly turbulent and uncertain. Our ability to remain peaceful in times of change and instability enables us to not only grow spiritually, but also to provide a powerful and positive influence on the world around us.
