Although many of us live in busy towns, cities and communities that are full of other people, loneliness and isolation have become bigger social problems than ever before.

Yet solitude has been a joyful and happy experience for countless spiritual practitioners over many centuries.

On this half day course, Gen Norden will teach us how we can learn to enjoy solitude in our contemporary world. We will identify and examine the true causes of loneliness, and develop the understanding and wisdom to cultivate an affectionate heart towards all living beings. In this way we can discover the joy of solitude and the ability to be happy all the time, regardless of our external conditions.
