6 – 12 January | Lamrim Retreat | guided by Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang

Lamrim is a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings that includes all of the essential instructions and meditations of the stages of the path to enlightenment. This cycle of meditations is easy to follow and put into practice and is particularly suitable for modern Buddhists with busy lives. If we practice Lamrim with a pure intention we will increase our collection of merit moment by moment, and swiftly progress along the path to Enlightenment. There is nothing more meaningful we can do with our human life.

The retreat will follow the sequence of fifteen meditations as presented in Mirror of Dharma With Additions and these will be guided within the practice of Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra. Each session will include a short teaching and guided meditation with Gen-la Kunsang, which will enable a deeper and more focused experience of this special meditation cycle. The final session of each day will include the second half of Wishfulfilling Jewel, the prayers to Dorje Shugden.

20 – 26 January | Start Your Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka Counting Retreat | guided by Gen Kelsang Tubpa

This special retreat will follow the oral instructions transmitted directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, and shared by Gen-la Dekyong at the International NKT Spring Festival 2022 in Málaga. By engaging in this practice, we will draw closer and closer to our Root Guru, and create very powerful actions that will cause Kadam Dharma to flourish in our hearts and throughout the world. There is no better offering to repay our Guru’s kindness.

This one-week retreat provides the opportunity to begin the practice of collecting 100,000 mantras that can be finished in our own time after the retreat. Two retreat sessions each day will be guided by Gen Tubpa, who will offer advice and inspiration to support our practice and explain how to perform Vajradaka Burning Offering. The remaining two sessions of the day will be unguided and the main emphasis of these two sessions will be on counting the mantras.
