A Day Course with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang | Sat 24 June | 10am – 4.30pm
It sometimes feels that, no matter how hard we try, our life is full of frustrations and unfulfilled desires. To find lasting freedom from this situation we need to learn how to identify the true source of our suffering and dissatisfaction. Since it is unreasonable to expect that we can fulfil all our desires, we must cultivate a more realistic and balanced approach to the problems of this life. Through this our mind will become more peaceful and controlled and we feel increasingly relaxed and content. By understanding that the sole function of frustration is to make us miserable, the stronger our motivation becomes to train in patience and defeat this internal enemy.
The course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience of Buddhist meditation.
