Sat 9 Nov | 9.30am – 1pm | with Gen Kelsang Tubpa
When our lives are particularly busy and stressful, we often identify the situations we find ourself in as being the source of the problem. However, Buddha taught that if we change the way we respond to these situations, it is possible to remain calm and peaceful even when things are difficult or going wrong. The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will become increasingly free from worries, stress and anxiety.
On this half day course, Gen Kelsang Tubpa will introduce some simple yet highly effective methods for calming the mind and learning to respond to stressful situations with a peaceful, controlled mind. If we start to integrate these techniques into our daily lives we will eventually be able to stay happy and relaxed all the time, even in the most pressured circumstances.
